Crocus Pattern

 Chain 47

Row 1: (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in 3rd chain from hook

*Skip 2 ch, sc in next ch

(skip 2 ch, 2 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc in 3rd chain)* across

Row 2: 9 dc in ch 2 space of previous row, dc in dc of previous row across.

Finish off leaving an extra long tail to weave into a crocus.

As you're weaving, leave the center open or else it will look too much like a rose.

Use 2 even strips of orange yarn to make filaments for the center of the crocus. Just use a needle to weave the yarn up through the center and then cut the strips off evenly.
